The Twin TERRORS! DUN DUN DUN.....

Heaven help me!! I got stuck a few days ago with both Kaiden and Maisyn. Don't get me wrong, I love the kids, but together... what a handful! I seriously don't know how people handle twins. Kaiden would cry and then Maisyn would cry. I put Maisyn in her bouncer and Kaiden in the swing and neither of them liked those options. It's virtually impossible to pick up both at the same time. It's almost like they are in competition to out cry each other. Aye yiy yiy.

FINALLY... we found a happy median... the TV!! Any parent who says they don't want their kids to watch tv is now crazy in my book. I was one of those moms until I discovered Penguins of Madagascar and Go Diego Go. (Maisyn's 2 favorite shows) It's an awesome baby sitter while I am trying to get ready in the morning.

I feel like a horrible mom because Maisyn has a huge addiction to the TV. I think she might give up bottles just to watch it. ;) jk!! Take a peak at my sanity set up!

Kaid, Mais way excited, The Baby sitter!!

Glitter Toes

Summer is finally here!!! Wahoo, time to kick off the boots and let your toes play!

I don't know about you guys, but durring the summer I live in flip flops. Why wear anything else? Showing off your toes is a fun way to make your self feel great and to snag a few extra compliments ;) Of course you can all paint your toe nails, but it chips off and eventually you have to take more time to paint them again... why not try GLITTER TOES??

Glitter toes are fun, flirty and just what you need to get this summer started!!

I will be doing glitter toes for 10.00! 1/2 the money will be donated to my little brothers India fund! (He is going to India next year for a service project) If you would like your toes done, please email me at JGParry@utah.gov or call me. 801-616-7137.

4th of July

The 4th of July is my most favorite holiday in the year. I love that family gathers together to have a bbq, play games and watch fireworks. What could be better? This year there were 2 new fans to join the party. Maisyn and Kaiden!! Maisyn loved watching all the bright colors and didn't even get scared by the noises. Infact, by the time it was all done I looked down and she was sound asleep. Kaiden was having a rough time at the beginning but as soon as he got some food in his tiny belly he too enjoyed the show.

Every year for as long as I can remember Ryan has always had to have the "tank" fire works. We got 6 of them this year and Josh and Ryan had a war. Ryan claimed to be the Soviets and Josh claimed to be the Americans. (Of course) I'm not sure who really won the battle but it was a pretty sweet show. Now that the 4th has passed, I am patiently waiting for my next favorite holiday, the 24th of July!

I love watching the mapleton parade, even though everyone says it's nothing but a big "hay ride." This will be Maisyns first parade and she will get to see her Daddy drive the fire truck. I'm positive she won't give a rats what's going on, but it will be a fun time to get her all dressed up anyway. Not to mention the Spanish Fork Rodeo! That's a tradition that has lasted for years. (Pics coming soon)

Hope you all had a wonderful 4th like we did!

Joshs Birthday/Park City

On May 30th, 1985 little Joshie D Olsen was born to Derald and Stephanie Olsen. Wow 25 years ago.. Josh, you're half way dead!;) Josh wanted to go to Park City for his birthday, so the family loaded up and we took a short road trip. Maisyn even behaved until the ride home. (We are never really that lucky for her to behave the whole time.) Once we got to Park City we had some really yummy Mexican food, even with Jeremy pointing out the big kids head... Off to the outlets we went.

Usually I never find anything good at the outlets. They really tick me off because lets be honest, it's an outlet and we are paying just as much as mall prices. Really big rip off. A few years ago I went to Texas and went through their outlets and you wouldn't believe the killer deals they have.. That's the only good thing about Texas. Back to my story before I go off on that vacation. We started out at the Nike outlet ending at the Carters kids outlet. I always spend so much money in Carters. It's not like Maisyn needs more clothes. To tell you the truth, it was more of Maisyns Birthday than Joshs. Why do kids get to take over our birthdays too? hmmm...
I hope Josh had a very successful, fun filled birthday!!

Maisyns Blessing Day

Maisyns blessing was such a success, thank you so much to all of you who came and showed your love and support. Maisyn was blessed at the Spanish Fork River Park by her Great Grandpa Olsen. Following the blessing we all shared in a BBQ! Thanks to Derald for cooking, Steph for the salads, mom and dad for cupcakes and my Dads camp hosts for a few added things we forgot!!
Can you believe we didn't even get a picture of Maisyn in her blessing dress? I better hurry and get it on her before her double chin is too big!! ;)

Thanks again for everything!!

* Baby Maisyn *

It all started July 2009, Josh and I found out we were having a baby! As exciting as the news was, I was scared out of my mind and I think Josh would say the same. As the first couple weeks passed I was so excited that I was feeling great and started to perk up about the subject of being pregnant. Life wasn't so bad, THEN IT HIT!! Like a truck full of brick being slammed on top of me... I cringe just to think the words as I type them... MORNING SICKNESS!

Talk about the 24 hour flu. It was miserable. I didn't move from my bed ever, unless to run to the bathroom or go to work. (I must admit I had some pretty awesome co-workers and a very understanding Boss.) Daily I would take a nap on Emilys floor, it was the only way to survive the pain I was going through. It got so bad, I ended up on home IV treatments.

After suffering the puke-a-rama fest, Josh and I got our first gender ultra sound. I absoluetly fell in love with my baby. We were having a boy!! Josh and I were so excited, infact we even started buying clothes for our little guy. We had a named picked out and everything. Then, surprise again!!! We found out we were havnig a GIRL.. WHAT? That totally came as a shock, but we loved her anyway.

Finally after months of suffering, March 17th came! I started having contractions at work and didn't think anything of it. By 8 pm that night I went into the hospital to have this little girl. Since my contractions weren't strong enough they gave me a shot of morphine and sent me on my way promising I would be back in the morning. Didn't happen! So friday March 19th, Josh and I went in for our 39 week visit and we received the BEST news in the whole world. I would be induced at 6 am Sunday March 21st. We got up, went to the hospital and 8 hours later that day we had a beautiful baby girl.

Maisyn J Olsen. 7 lbs 14 oz, 19 in. - She was such a cute little girl. She looks just like Josh! (Daddys girl all the way) We love her so much and can't wait for her to walk and talk.... and be potty trained! Any day now.. ;)

The beginning of a LONG journey

It all began October 2008... But let me back track just a little. Josh and I have known each other for quite some time. We both went to school together and Josh was friends with my older brother Bret. I have always thought Josh was cute (Even back when he only weighed 130 lbs, and couldn't grow facial hair) We never dated in high school or even gave each other the time of day. Then one day on facebook I came across Josh's profile so I added him. Never thought anything of it other than I was adding him as a friend. Josh added me and wrote me a message asking how I had been and if I wanted to hang out. Of course I said yes, I had nothing else going one ;) The first night we hung out, we both knew we would be stuck with each other for life. Josh was such a romantic.. He let me drive his truck to lure me in! I hate to say it, but it worked. CRAP! He even pulled quite the move on me..
Josh:" Is there anything you want to do?"
Jen: "I don't care, what do you want to do?"
Josh: " I have always wanted to kiss you..."
Jen: "HA ha ha, oh ok."
Then once we got out of the truck, Josh grabbed me and kissed me. I must admit, my whole world stopped!
After that night, Josh and I had quite the rough patch for a while. We broke up quite a few times, pretty much fell out of love. Then one day while sitting at work, I got a surpising phone call. It went like this...
Doctor: "Congrats Jennifer, you are 6 weeks pregnant"
Jennifer: "Ok, (silence) What do I do now?" *Exact words*

Now you can guess where this story is going... So I must close the chapter on this story, and start another one.

Thanks for reading our Blog and I hope you enjoy reading about our crazy adventures as much as we love living them!! We love you all!!
